| Debra
Gulea has been appraising dolls since 1990. Debra is a longtime member of NADDA
and UFDC judge. She is a former columnist for DOLLS magazine, and also has written
articles about doll identification and values for other leading publications including
Doll Reader and Antique Doll Collector. She also formerly cataloged dolls and
determinted their pre-sale estimates for a major doll & toy auction house. The
cost of an appraisal is $10 per doll. For this fee, we will identify your doll
and assign it a value. The value will reflect our professional opinion as to what
the doll is worth in today's market. A doll's age, attribution, physical condition,
rarity, originality, and current popularity within the doll collecting community
are all factors that influence its value. We will record pertinent information
on an appraisal form for you to keep for your records. All
appraisals are performed at the Debra's Dolls store in Mullica Hill, NJ. We are
unable to offer on-site appraisals, at your home or place of business, at this
time. We do not offer on-line appraisal and identification services. Please do
not email us with questions regarding the age or condition of your doll, because
we will not respond.
If
you are not from the NJ area and unable to bring your doll to Debra's Dolls for
an appraisal, you can visit www.nadda.org to
locate a doll expert in your area who may be willing to help. We also sell books
on dolls, including price guides, which may aid in your own research. |
