This company was founded in 1978 by Barbara Isenberg. Several years earlier, she enlisted the help of a friend to make a nostalgic bear for her son out of an old sweatshirt. Barbara still works as the Creative Director for NABCO, which now has international distribution. We specialize in NABCO's whimsical all-cloth topsy-turvy storybook dolls, which are safe for young children and encourage their imagination.
