13” All-Original Biedermier Solid-Dome China Head doll, German, circa 1850, typical solid dome (bald) china head with black painted pate on top, blue painted eyes, single stroke brows, closed smiling mouth with white space between lips, Original elaborately braided human hair wig, overall pale pink tinting to shoulder plate and china lower limbs, beautifully molded china “spoon” hands and early china legs with black molded flat lace-up boots, original cloth body, few specks on upper right side of forehead, teeny tiny mold speck on one cheek, lovely original clothes from head to toe, hat possibly original as well, from the collection of Doris Hill $1,650.

21" Parian, German, circa 1870-1880, was unable to find this gorgeous and rare head model in any of my books, rare elaborately molded brown hair with molded ribbon in front and molded hair clip in back, deep and very pale shoulder plate featuring 3 stringing holes in front & back, blue painted eyes, slightly upturned lips on closed mouth, lovely serene expression, original homemade cloth body, dark grey original leather lower arms are frail, great funky big feet and red leather original shoes, clothes appear to be original as well, I am in love with this doll, much more striking in person.
