What guarantee do
I have that the doll is as described?
Debra's Dolls has a reputation for honesty and integrity. Debra
Gulea determines the condition of each doll after a careful inspection
of the doll with a black light, fluorescent light, and magnifying
lens. Any damages or repairs to the head or body are noted on the
web site, on the price tags in our shop, and on your receipt upon
purchase. Debra Gulea is a dealer with over thirteen years of experience
buying and selling dolls, and is also a UFDC judge, a member of
NADDA, and a researcher who has written articles about dolls for
numerous publications and currently has her own column in DOLLS
Magazine. Therefore Debra is qualified to accurately assess the
age, attribution, and physical condition of the antique dolls she
sells. Debra's Dolls adheres to NADDA's Code
of Ethics, and NADDA has an ethics committee in place to mediate
any disputes should they arise. In the unlikely event that a doll
is found to be at odds with its description, the doll may be returned
to Debra's Dolls within three days for a full refund minus shipping
expenses. For more information on our sales policy, go to Terms
of Purchase.

Are your dolls "put
together"?
The term "put together" refers to an antique doll
(or other antique item) that has been newly assembled from a variety
of antique parts. The dolls at Debra's Dolls are not "put together"
dolls. All of the heads are original to the bodies, and all of the
parts are original. If for some reason there is a doll in inventory
that is suspected to have a body that is of the era but perhaps
not original to the head, then that doll is said to have an appropriate
body.
